On February 11th, Square announced that it had acquired Toronto-based AI startup Dessa for an undisclosed amount. Coming on the heels of Square’s recent acquisition of Eloquent Labs, this is another step Square has taken towards incorporation artificial intelligence and machine learning in its existing solutions set.
